How do you burn graboid videos onto dvds and is the quality good?

I am thinking about getting an external dvd burner for my laptop. The reason being I want to put my graboid movies onto dvds. How do I do this (please give step by step directions with dvd burner included).

Will the quality be comparible to standard dvd. And please tell me how to improve quality.

Please give as much info on quality as possible (for best answer)
