  1. go to the traain station?

    or pay on the train

  2. At the station!

  3. At the station ! ! You go to the ticket office. Tell them where you want to go. They tell you how much. You give them the money and they give you the ticket.

  4. On the train!

  5. Most stations have a ticket office to buy them, if its a station doesnt have one you buy your ticket on the train.

  6. From a train station

or your local shop (where you a sign to buy tickets)

or a travel agent will do it for you(depends where you are going)

  7. Hey Bob

You buy the ticket like this:

If you don't do that, then you put the underwear on the loom and pinch untill firm. If still doey, rub some caulking on the inside of the shirt and knead until smooth. then you sew the letters on! Here's a picture of the process

  8. Well go to your local manned railway station when the ticket office is open and ask the Clerk there for the best and cheapest option.  If your local station is unmanned or has automated ticket machines which do not show your destination then when you board the train seek out the Guard / Conductor before you take your seat to purchase the ticket, if the service is Driver Only operated, then you will have to purchase the ticket at your first opportunity, any Inspectors who board the service and do a ticket check should know the station you boarded did not have any ticket facilities and a penalty fare would not be valid in that case.

You will not need two tickets for your journey, but one through ticket, make sure the issuer of your ticket understands where you wish to change trains so the routing is correct.

    Good Luck

  9. If you go to www.virgintrains.co.uk you can buy your tickets online and select the choice to pick them up from a "FastTicket Machine", which is a little thing at the station you are leaving from where you put your credit card in and it prints your tickets for you.  Wonderful invention, saves you time and effort and yet you still get cheap tickets.

Saying that, they post the tickets 1st class so if you are leaving after your post usually arrives on Friday you should get them on time.

Otherwise, find a train time on the internet, go to the station and ask for a ticket for that exact train and they can usually give you some of the good offers you get on the net.

  10. go to station and hand over money and tell them where you want to go and when, they will hand you the ticket

  11. go to the train staion and buy on the day

  12. Buy a ticket at the station, or if the station you are travelling from is unstaffed, you can get the ticket from the guard on the train.

If the journey involves changing, i.e. more than one train, you can get a ticket which will cover both trains.

On the other hand if you go to National Rail Enquiries web site and input your route, don't see why you can't book online?

If it's 2 seperate journeys then book each seperately.

  13. Go to the station and buy it from the ticket office or telephone them, buy the tickets with your card and collect them when you go to catch your train.

  14. You can book online at the www.thetrainline.com and then choose to pick them up from your chosen station :)

  15. Over the phone with a credit card? Could also go to the ticket office at your local train station as well.
