Never buy anything off the internet using western union.  I bet you have been tricked into thinking you are getting some great new item that would normally be 4-5k dollars new in stores for like 800 dollars or something right?  And you just cant pass up this deal, but the seller probably says something like "he needs the money quickly because of an emergency, or he doesnt trust paypal or he is in another country that doesnt let him use paypal or something"  Whatever the case, its a scam.  I've never see any online purchase that uses western union that WASNT a scam.

And if this is an ebay purchase and the seller has like 1000s of positive feedback, still dont believe it, because he was most likely hacked.

I would not use Western Union at all. It is one of the most unsafe ways to pay for anything, mainly because it has been hijacked by scammers from all over the world. Ask the vendor to accept another form of payment if you want to go through with the transaction.
