How do you bypass an ignition lock on a 50 cc scooter?

my ignition is all screwed up, I have a 50 cc Viva scooter I just got back from the police after it was stolen about 6 months ago, there is a red, black , green and black with a white stripe wire how can I get it started since my key will no longer fit in ?

RIIIIIIGGGHHHHTTT..........................    and the theft rate of 50 cc scooters rises?  i don't think so.............. go buy a new igniton.............

run a wire from the pos, batt. to the pos. terminal of the coil.
