  1. CAGR=((lastno./firstno.)^(1/no.of years))-1"

    The "numberofyears" term counts year intervals, rather than years themselves. For example, the period from 2001 to 2002 is numerically two years but counts as only one interval.

    Example:

        period(0) = 100,

        period(1) =  95,

        period(2) = 115,

        period(3) = 150,

        period(4) = 200,

        

        CAGR = ((200/100)^1/4) - 1)= 18.92%
