How do you calculate IRR and future value in excel sheet?

i want to know like if a person invests Rs100,000 continuosly for 15 years how much he would get back if compounded annually at 10%?

  1. For your specific calculation you can just type in

    =100+(10/100*100) which is your Amount invested+(Return Rate/100*Corpus Value) in lets say cell A1.

    Then in cell A2 write =A1+(A1/100*100) which is your Previous Years Corpus+(10% of the Corpus value).

    For the rest of the values just drag this cell till you reach cell A15.

    This is your future value calculation compounded annually for 15 years.

    There is an inbuilt function for IRR computation for which you will require a discount rate as well!
