i'm needing to buy a window a/c for my tweo beroom apartment with ten foot ceilings and need to know the size.

  1. There are various formulas which you can find online.  It's not only the cubic feet of the room, but whether the room has outside walls and if so how many, whether there is insulation, whether the spaces above and below the room are heated and cooled, and what direction the outside walls face.  

    Also, make sure your wiring can handle a window air conditioner without blowing a breaker.  They suck lots of juice.

    400 to 450 square feet 10,000 BTUs

    450 to 550 square feet 12,000 BTUs
