  1. Here......

  2. Websites already given. It's just worked out on your weight vs height. So It's not a great measure as it doesn't take into account what makes up the weight. Muscle, etc. I'm a fireman and some of the guys I work with would be classed as obese but they're just built like a bricksh*t house

  3. to work out our BMI you divide your weight (in pounds (lbs) by your height (in inches (in)

    hope that helps :)

  4. BMI = Weight / Length^2

Weight in (kg)   ----   Length in (meters)

I weight 103 kg and my length is 1.87 m

    My BMI  = 103 / (1.87^2) = 29.5

Living overwight just below the edge of Obesity, which is above 30

OK is between 20 to 25

    underweight is below 20.

    cheers

  8. BMI = Weight in Kg divided by (Height in metres)^2

If you have access to Microsoft Excel, then the following will calculate it for you.

    1) In cell A2 enter the weight in pounds

    2) In cell A4 and B4 enter the height in feet and inches respectively

    3) In A6 enter this formula:

    =ROUND( A2/2.20462/( A4*0.3048+B4*0.0254 )^2,1)

Add your own cell headings to make it more user-friendly.
