  1. You dial 0041 (area code) (phone number), but miss off the leading zero for the area code so say their number was 01234 567890 you'd dial: 00 41 1234 567890

  2. 0041 and then the number

  3. You need two codes, one to say what country you are calling from, and one for the country you are trying to call.

If you are calling from Britain, the code to get an international line is 00. This is called the International Direct Dialing Prefix.

The country code for Switzerland (to dial INTO Switzerland) is 41.

So to call Switzerland from the UK you should dial 0041 then the number. You don't need the extra zeros at the end.

You can call any other country from Britain using 00(country code)(number).

  4. No just 41 then the dialing code and numbwer.

  5. 0041 and then the Swiss number.

  6. Shout very loud...FOREIGN COUNTRY !
