How do you can re can tamotes from a large can?

I bought a gallon can of tamotes I want to recan them in a pint jar

Why are you recanning them? It would be better to freeze them and use them as you need.

If I have left over canned tomatoes I toss them into freezer bags and into the freezer. Simple and quick. Doesn't change the product either.

A pint is two cups so measure into medium freezer bags and you're out of the kitchen.

Tamotes???...is this an anagram of tomates or do you mean teamoots?...which is tomatoes?...just make up single portions and freeze them in yogurt pots whatever?...
