How do you care for new born mice?

how do you take care of them and how do you help the mom mouse

  1. Let the mom mouse take care of them, also don't touch them while they are still young and don't clean the cage yet (you don't want to disrupt the nest). Try and make sure the mom mouse stays comfortable by making sure she has enough food and water at all times. She will be very protective of the baby mice until they get big enough. Good Luck!

  3. just make shore there clean and if she lets you get close , don't touch them until  they start moving on there own, or she will kill them by eating them, other than that she'll do all the work!

  5. You can't take care of the baby mice directly or else the mom might eat them.

    Help the mom out by giving her more fatty food [not too much though!]. Provide warm bedding like felt. Don't use towels or anything with strings because they can strangle the babies.
