  1. There are two different ways to catch Kangaskhan without using the Safari Zone; however both ways are cheats that can permanently s***w up your game, so be careful if you use them.  The first trick is fairly easy, as said, you just have to use the "Missingo" cheat (hundreds of websites on how to use this cheat, try Bulbapedia.org for more info.) and evolve the Missingo using a rare candy- I tried this and it worked, but the Pokemon was very odd (listed as Flying and Water or something; only knew three moves and one was repeated twice- I think they were "Fly" and "Bubble" or something).  This also screwed up the graphics in my game and permenantely messed up my hall of fame (all images distorted), so be careful!

The second method usually yields less s***w-ups in the game; this method is really complex and I've never tried it, but it's the same way you can catch a mew (See "Mew trick" on Bulbapedia.org for more info).  Basically you need a Pokemon with a certain Special Stat at the front of your party, and then you have to walk up to (BUT NOT battle) a trainer by pressing the menu button IMMEDIATELY when he sees you.  You should then fly away (WARNING:  YOU MENU BUTTON WILL NOT WORK UNTI YOU FINISH THE CHEAT) to another city with a trainer that you HAVE NOT beaten.  This trainer must have a pokemon in his party of a certain Special Stat and it needs to be his first pokemon.  THE TRAINER MUST WALK UP TO YOU or else the cheat won't work.  After beating said trainer you should fly to Lavender town (depends on method) and walk to the lower left exit of the town- the menu will suddenly pop up, and if you press "B" a Pokemon should appear.  Mew, for example, can be gained using the Gambler trainer outside Lavender Town (Walk up to him from the tunnel entrance and press the menu IMMEDIATELY; then fly to Ceruelean city) and the Lad (I think) with the LV. 17 Slowpoke right above Cerulean City (you must battle him immediately after flying there).  If you have already beaten the trainers that Bulbapedia says you must battle to get Khangaskhan then I'm afraid you can't get him unless you use the Missingo cheat.

Good luck, and I hope this helps!  (Pokemon players, unite!  XD).

  2. you can't. no other way than safari zone. sux huh?

  3. If you can't manage to wrestle one out of the Safari Zone there is no other place on the world map that has wild Khangaskhans.

However, there is a glitch that can be used. Without looking it up, I might get it wrong. However I think I've got it right.

Once you see the Khangaskhan in the Safari Zone you have to quit the Safari game. Hit Start, then Quit or Leave. Run down to the waters edge, and surf out to the Seafoam Islands. Surf up and down the right side of the coast with a bunch of pokeballs all ready to go. You should start encountering pokemon you would normally see in the Safari Zone. Such as Khangaskhan, Tauros, Pinsir/Scyther etc.

If that doesn't work then the only other ways to get Khangaskhan would be in a trade from a friend. Or with a Gameshark.

There is one other way, but there's no guarantee it'll go Khangaskhan on you. The multiply glitch, if you still have your Masterball, put it in the 6th slot of your items. Talk to the guy that teaches you how to catch pokemon. Fly to Cinnabar. Surf up and down the coast until you encounter something called Missingno. Run. Your masterball should now have a glitch mark next to it, meaning there's 129 of them. Continue surfing until you encounter yet another missingno (whatever item is in slot 6 will get mulitplied, so rare candy would be a good one). Use a master ball on the missingno. Do not let it go to your pkmn box on the pc. You need to have a slot with you. Sending it to the pc can mess with the game. So anyways, give it a rare candy. It'll go to level 1, and evolve. It will continue to evolve at every level up to level 100. Just hope it goes Khangaskhan on you.
