It's called ice fishing.First research the lake you are going to fish find information on type of structure ,water depth ,clarity.Second when ice forms with sufficient thickness go the area you have identified drill a hole into ice.This can be done with either a chisel,hand operated drill or power auger.Fish with short rod and reel combo using small white grubs on light tackle.Have loads of fun!
