How do you celebrate your wedding anniversary?

In my dream

I see your face

hear your laughter soar

touch you on this Day of Days

as I did before…

I awake

to darkened room

on this Night of Nights

blindly, I reach out for you

then switch on the lights…

Which is dream

and which is real

why are you not here

once again I close my eyes

and dream you laughing there.

Dreams can be cruel. When reality is stark - the dream's image is more pronounced. How blessed it is to be able to wake and then "continue" off again - in the same dream (especially if it is pleasing). The mind of the dreamer - must have been - very entranced in the subject. ♥
