  1. well if u just pop the disc in, youd have to open the disc and follow the instructions after clicking "install windows xp"

it may ask for the serial number, but if not then it will when upgrading.

you will be asked if u want to do an upgrade (no files will be lost), or a clean install (format/you will lose all files).

i would recommend clean install/formatting( if you choose to do this, burn all files to a cd or something)

(u can either do it by going to the cd drive, or you can just pop the disc in, and restart the computer right away, booting from the cd)

  2. i doubt a computer running ME will be able to handle XP

  3. 1. Shutdown you computer (Not Restart)

    2. Power it Up

    3. Quickly put in the cd before windows loads

    4. It will ask you to boot from cd

    5. press any key....

-------- Since You Dont this stuff, i wouldnt recommend that you should install windows xp on it...

    print out a tutorial

  4. Ummmmm......Change the boot order of your computer. (instead of the hardrive choose CD ROM). You have to press one of the F keys at boot up (it depends on the model of computer) Look at the words at the bottom of the screen at boot up. it should tell you which F key to push.
