How do you change a file from .mov to .wma or other file type?

I am having a trouble uploading a file to a site it says error IO undefined I was going to change the file type from .mov to .wma how would I do that?

unless i'm mistaken, .mov files are quicktime movies, whereas .wma files are windows media audio--sound files. why would you have to convert from one to the other? did you mean .wmv? or do you want to strip the audio track from the movie?

if you still want to convert something, try http://media-convert.com/ it's a free online media converter. it won't rip the sound track from the movie, and it's a little bit slow..also, unlike a local converter, there is the added time of your upload/download. but for normal conversions it gets the job done.

The site you are trying to upload may not support the type of file you use so try to find a video converter wherein you can choose the desired filetype.

Download a program like Blaze Media Pro or Total Video Converter, they work perfectly fine. TVC is much user friendly than BMP though.
