How do you change a zip file to a VLC file?

Question

I downloaded a film and i didnt notice it was a zip file.

How do i change it to a Vlc file? the film was downloaded using Utorrent if that helps?

unzip it and go apple i and open with VLC

u have to download winrar..go to http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

get winrar or winzip to uncompress it

Winrar:http://www.rarlab.com/

Winzip:http://www.winzip.com/index.htm

I prefer winrar over winzip, but the choice is up to you.

A zip file is a compressed file or files. Unzip/Extract that file to get your files out
