How do you change an avi file to one that plays on a dvd player.i have some movies that i want to put on disc

i have movies that have been downloaded, but cant figure out how to change them to a format playable on my dvd player, the player will play cd-r.cd r.mp3.cd and dvd

try the xilisoft avi to dvd convertor, a bit slow but works a treat.

Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format.. you will need to convert, but it can be easy, don't worry.

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, never had a problem!

There's another program called dvd santa. An ol school computer genuis recommended it to me some years ago and when I ran into the same problem ur having I accidently came back across it and it works great. Trying doing a search for it on yahoo. If u still can't find it let me kno I'll see wht I can do.
