How do you change calls between wireless home handsets?

We recently changed our home wireless phone handsets. Our old BT ones were fine but started to fall apart with age. With the old ones if one of the family answered the phone and it was for someone else, the other person could just pick up the phone in a different part of the house and start the conversation. Now you have to "Transfer" the call to the other handset by number! As handsets move around the house this is not convenient, so we find ourselves taking the handset to the person who the call was for!! ( what a waste ofm time.

Check the user manual for the feature: Handset-to-handset call transfer.

Most new generation mutiple hand set systems have this feature.

The transfer can be done pressing by INT key, in many AT&T handsets.
