  1. Type Fahrenheit to Celsius converter in google and click on one of the results.

  2. If you know the temperature in one of the scales, use this algebraic expression to calculate the other:

    F = 1.8C + 32

    So if the temperature is 86 degrees Fahrenheit (like it is here at my house today), then it is

    86 = 1.8C + 32 (subtract 32)

    54 = 1.8C (divide by 1.8)

    30 = C

    30 degrees Celsius.

  5. ('F)=1.8('C)+32

    -or-

    ('C)=(5/9)('F-32)

  6. If F is degrees Fahrenheit and C degrees Celsius, then

    C = (F -32) × 5/9

    F = 32 + (C × 9/5)

  7. some cellphones have converter..

  8. A?

  9. 5/9 times (degrees F - 32)

    to convert back, (9/5 times degrees C) + 32

  10. Somewhere on the internet there is a conversion chart. Somewhere in the library there is a conversion chart. Copy either of those and you have solved your problem. We Americans can also do  with some knowledge on converting Fahrenheit to Celsius.

  11. Here's another way to do it in your head that's not completely accurate. Let's say it's 81F to work with an example.

    16C = 61F

    Figure out the diff btwn 81F & 61F = 20

    divide this # by 2 = 10  (You know you divide bc C is on a smaller scale than F)

    Add this to 16C 16+10 = 26C (If it was 55F, you would subtract math answer from 16)

    55F --> ?C

    61-55 = 6

    6/2 = 3

    16-3 = 13C

    20C --> ?F

    find difference from 16: 20 - 16 = 4

    multiply by 2, 2X4 = 8

    add to 61, 61+8 = 69F

    Pretty accurate. Once you get the hang of it, it's really simple to do

    If you want accuracy, just type in celsius to fahrenheit into google

  12. A simple, yet not always accurate way is as follows... take the Fahrenheit number and subtract 32 and divide by 2 to get the approximate reading in Celsius. So...

    70F, minus 32, divided by 2 is 19C.

    82F, minus 32, divided by 2 is 25C

    It also works in reverse of course...

    32C, times 2, plus 32 is 96F

    16C, times 2, plus 32 is 64F

    These are not 100% accurate and get less accurate when you get into lower temperatures... -40F is actually -40C so in this case it wouldn't work, right!

    C = (F -32) × 5/9, that's a new one to me and is far more accurate. That's fantastic, thanks!!

  14. just type it in google and it even might do it for you. Will im from Europe and i sometimes need to convert Fahrenheit as well, so like 30 deggres is about 0 in Fahrenheit.

  15. google a conversion chart for yourself

  16. Celsius=(5/9)*(Fahrenheit-32)

    / = division

    * = multiplication

    - = subtraction

  17. Celsius x 1.8 = Fahrenheit

    Fahrenheit / 1.8 = Celsius

  18. F=1.8(C)+32

  19. Formula   C = (F - 32) x 5/9     F = C x9/5 + 32

  20. Subtract 32 from Farenheit temperature then multiply by 5 and divide by 9 to get Celsius temperature
