I'm trying to change my iTunes format to: MPG, MPE, MPEG, AVI, WMV, AND ASF. Everytime I wanna put my music on another application, but everytime I try to do it, it tells me to turn the format one of the following, and don't know how.

  1. Now, I'd be careful about doing this with NEW files (just so you don't s***w up your main library), but if you click Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced and choose the Importing Tab, you can choose your format.

None of the formats you listed are showing as available options, but I would think an MP3 or WAV format would work in most apps.

Now...once you change the setting, you go back to your library, right click on the song you want to convert, then choose Convert Selection to ... (it'll say whatever you changed it to).

    Good luck!
