How do you change your text message ringtones from your LG shine?

Try settings&tools>sound/call settings>alert tones.  Poke around.  Or go to a contact and see if you can do it there.

you should be able to change them in your settings, but on some phones, like samsung ones, you can't. On my blackjack I convert my mp3 files into text tones by using the free site
