  1. Take wire from the battery Positive pole and and one from the negative pole and connect the neg wire to the capacitor case. Then just touch the pos wire briefly to the wire coming out of the center of the capacitor. The capacitor is charged then. Caution: be sure not to touch the case and the center wire with your fingers because it will cause the capicitor to dscharge and shock you.

  2. I hope you haven't done this already ... DON'T JUST HOOK IT UP!!!  Capacitors need to be charged slowly.  Most capacitors come with a resistor.  A test light works well for this too.  You need a resistor inline to the positive wire so the cap will charge slowly.  If you're using a test light, the light will be weak at first and will get brighter in a few minutes.  Once the light is bright, you're good to go.  But be very careful not to ground your positive wire or you may blow the cap up.  If you're using a resistor, just give it 10 minutes or so and you should be good.

  3. Easy hook the positive and negative ends to the car battery to the positive and the negative terminals on the capacitor. CAUTION: Be really careful with capacitors because even after they are unhooked they hold a charge for a long time, this charge is enough to stop your heart in some cases.

  4. A flux capacitor for your DeLorean? I think it needs plutonium.

  5. just hook it right up to your battery

  6. I just did this like 2 weeks ago. All you do is take the positive power wire from the battery and touch it to one end of like a 12 volt small light bulb with 2 leads. Then with the other side of the light bulb lead connect that to the positive terminal of the cap. That matches it with the voltage of your battery. DONT let the positive power wire and ground wire touch. Or it will spark and start to smoke and maybe catch on fire. Good luck
