  1. its behind the stearing wheal, like near where it says how full your tank is. You'll see it dont worry :)

  2. On your dash board, there should be a mile counter near the MPH half circle measuring device. And if you press a button near that, the ticker will go to "0" miles. Then, when you fill up your gas tank, make sure the miles are at zero. Then, when you fill up your tank again when it is near empty.. check how many miles you drove and how much gas you put in your car.

    Example:

    280 miles/ 14 gallons= 20 miles per gallon!

  3. you should have found that out when buying the car

  4. Next time you fill up your tank all the way, write down the mileage you have.  Then don't fill it up again until it's almost empty.  (You will probably have 1 to 1 1/2 gallons left after it hits the red line.)  Check your mileage again at that time.  Subtract the current mileage from the 1st mileage.  Divide that number by your tank's capacity (should be in your owner's manual).  That gives you approximately the miles/gallon that you get on your car.

  5. my car has a counter with a button, everytime I fill up I reset it

  6. set trip odometer to zero after u fill it when u next fill it divide miles by gallons if u went 300miles  on 10gallons u got 30mpg gotta fill it both times not say $10 worth

  7. #of gallons of gas used

    divided by

    miles driven

  8. IDK! I dont drive

  9. Fill tank. drive awhile. fill tank see how many miles you went, divide gallons into miles

  10. If you have a trip gage on your odometer, reset it to zero the next time you fill the tank. Then the time you get gas after that, divide the number of miles by how many gallons you put into the tank.

  11. calculate it...run your car almost to empty...put 10 gallons in it and set your tripommeter to zero and take it for a drive in your usually routine ...when it get almost to empty, see how many miles you went and devied that by ten(the gallons of gas) and you will have your gas mileage.if you just get it from the cars website it can be off by a few cuz everyone drives differently and in different traffic.

  12. do math

  13. addition and division.

  14. If you started your day with  120,000 miles.   at the end of the day you have  121,200 miles on it.

you put on 1,200 miles that day

  15. check your broshure. and if that dosent work look up the car and the year the car was made on the internet.

  16. Check the car manual or look online.

  17. The best way to get an accurate mileage for your type of driving ( how and where you drive all affect mileage ) is to fill your tank up, reset your trip odometer or write your mileage down, drive normally, just like you do every day.  When you get to 60 miles stop and fill up again.  Look at the pump to see exactly how much gas it took to fill up again.  Then divide the exact number of miles you drove by the amount of gas it took to fill up.  This will tell you the mileage that YOU get.  The mpg that the car makers tell you aren't accurate.  When they calculate the mileage for the car it is done with the car doing a maximum speed of 55 mph, and perfect road conditions with no stop and go traffic.  No one is lucky enough to drive under the same conditions that they use.

  18. look on the internet

  19. Fill the tank.  Mark down the mileage reading on the odometer, or reset the trip odometer to "0". Drive until the tank is at least half empty.  Fill it up again and mark down the mileage again [or the number of miles shown on the trip odometer] AND the number of gallons it took to fill it.  If you don't have a trip odometer, subtract the first mileage from the last mileage on the odometer to get the total miles driven.

Divide the number of gallons into the miles driven to get the number of miles per gallon.

    Ex.:   Mileage at first fill-up -- 12,462

             Mileage at next fill-up -- 12,655

             Gallons to fill tank:  9

             12,655

           - 12,462

           ------------

            =     193

           193 / 9 = 21.5 miles per gallon

  20. Fill your tank to full and press the odometer which should be on the bottom of your speedometer .  When the tank is near the empty refill the tank and subtract, divide by the cost and you will receive the mileage. example  if it cost you 50.00 to fill and then to refill if cost was 45.00 then divide the mileage by 45.00 and this will give you the answer. Cheers!
