  1. Oust spray it works for a long time

  2. Well, personally after reading the warning statements on those plug-in's, I stay away from them.  Don't much like the sprays that just cover up odors and don't last.

So, instead I went green with a fragrance free product called Fridge-It odor absorbers.  Recommended by a friend for all kinds of odors, I now use it around house - fridge, under sinks, near trash, closets, cabinet and even litter box (cats).   It really helps to keep house smelling clean.  I love them.

So, suggest you get some of the FRIDGE-IT activated carbon odor absorbers - little purple cube - not the imitations.

You can buy these in kitchen gadget stores or just go direct which is what I do - contact them at customerservice@innofresh.com and ask for order form. You get it right away.

Definitely the way to go. try it.

    Good luck

  3. I prefer to use an oil burner, with essential oils. It's not expensive to buy a burner, which consists of a holder for a tea candle underneath a shallow heat proof dish which can be filled with water and a few drops of your favourite oil. As the water heats up, it the oil evaporates and is infused into to the air. As well as making your home smell lovely, certain oils also have special properties like being disinfectant or helpful for various health conditions.

Sometime I burn incense, but it can be a bit smoky and they don't tend to burn for very long.

I avoid the sprays and plug-ins because I find the scents very artificial and don't think the chemicals used are very good either for the environment or your health.

Oils are safe to use, and there is such a huge range available that you are bound to find several that you find attractive. Enjoy!

  4. Scented candles and perfume.

  5. I use Glade Carpet and room odor eliminator. You can get it at wal-mart for about a dollar. You sprinkle it into the carpet and let it sit for about ten minutes and then vacuum it all up. I get comment after comment on how good my home smells every time I use it. I prefer the clean linen scent.

  6. Because Incense smokes a room, plug-ins are not very strong & soon expire, and sprays don't penetrate - I prefer to burn aromatherapy oils.

I like the smell of Lemongrass best.

If you have got children around you then this might not be a good idea for you because of the need of "nightlight" candles to heat the oil. If this is the case then I would go for the strongest Plug-in I could find.

  7. candles mostly. plug-ins in the bathroom. I work at Yankee Candle and the candles make the whole house smell good plus I get a sweet discount.

  8. i buy the glade plug-in fans, they work great i use the vanilla breeze in all of them, i have 2 in my living room, 2 in my cats room, 1 in the hall way, 1 in my office and 1 in my bedroom, i also have a glade flameless candle in my bathroom, i like candles but i'm a daughter of a firefighter and i'm so scared of forgetting about to blow them out or my cats jumping and knocking one over

  9. try no to use the chemical kinds. no matter wat they say, it only masks the smell and its bad to be in a room full of chemical spray. us incense and candles, they will actually eliminate odor

  10. I boil orange peals and cinnamon stick together. The whole house smells wonderful.

  11. There are many ways to freshen the air in your home depending on the order if its just fresh you want you could try an apple half sprinkle some cinamon on it and bake it in the oven it make your house smell like apple pie or you could put some cinamon stiks in water and boil them gives your house a cinamony smell those are some ways to keep the air in your home smelling nice and they are relativly cheap hope this works.

  12. I love to use candles in the winter and the fall. It lets off a tiny bit of heat and smell. In the summer and spring i like to use frebreze because its very refreshing and new smelling. :P
