How do you choose your soap for your shower?

Pick a clean scented soap that you like. I like dove, dial, zest and a bunch of others. There's no harm in trying all kinds of brands out. Eventually you'll find one that you can't stop using because you like it so much. :)

I just buy a shower gel you can get many different ones to suit your skin type, so that is what i look for when i buy it, so that is all i can suggest.

by the smell of it... But most likely the same body soap i use.. Old Spice..

I stick to body washes, I'm not too picky about which brand as long as it's moisturizing and they all pretty much smell nice. :o)

I used to go by scent like a lot of my fellow answerer's and then I learned how extremely toxic most of our cosmetics and beauty aids are and started choosing by first going to the skin deep database to see which ones were not toxic.

When you in jest toxins in your food the digestion process eliminates some of the harmful effects but when these toxins are applied directly to the skin they are absorbed straight into the blood stream. That's why we have so many drugs administered through patches like birth control, stop smoking patches etc. There is no regulation as to what toxins can be put into our beauty aids and some of them are just plain poison. We are literally poisoning ourselves with lotions and cosmetics.

I use one with a cream body oil in it for ex caress, or dove... the water here dries out my skin and this keeps it soft and feeling good...

I like dove, because it's gentle. So I like soaps that are mild!

By the scent. And I always choose a liquid soap because there is less soap scum buildup with them.

I like Safeguard but liquid soaps are better for me.

im allergic to soap, so i use soap free body wash... i get the stuff from like nutramedics that is in a 5 ltr bottle and smells like coconut

By what is on sale, I am not picky when it comes to soap, But I di like the smell of Irish Springs!
