How do you cite a textbook??

would a textbook be under book or reference thing in mla format? and any good websites to cite this? if it is a book is the publisher the thing next to the copyright date? i know i sound retarded but this is my first time citing on my own and its worth a lot of my grade so if you could help me that would be great thanks =]]

  1. here's a great website that i personally use it does MLA and APA bibs for every thing from websites to bibles

    but you have to pay 4-8 dollars a month but maybe you could get your teacher to pay for their whole class

    but if all else fails

    here's the format assuming u mean printed book

    "Title of article"_title of book_underlined____,publication date.

    thats the minum requirements for the citation

    btw the correct word would be reference book
