  1. take a very wet cloth and wipe it off while it is hot and the steam will help you to just wipe it right off. that is how i clean my pannini press. watch out though the steam will be VERY HOT and can burn you. but this is the best method

  2. I learned this tip a few years ago, and it really works.

As soon as you've removed the hot food from the grill, take a couple of layers of paper towels and run them under some cold water.  Unplug the grill, and lay the cold wet paper towels down on the hot cooking surface.  Close the lid.  (Great big puffs of hissing steam will come out -- don't worry about it.)

Go eat your hamburger or grilled chicken.  When you come back to the grill, open it up; it will be all cooled down and the food/greese particles will be softened and easily removed with the soggy towels.  A second wipe with a couple more clean wet towels is all you should need.

Never use any kind of harsh scrubbing materials on it, or you will damage the non-stick coating.

  3. I hope this is useful for u and your friend.

  4. i just take a wet sponge and wipe it down till its clean, dont use that scrubby side because itll scrape off and ruin the teflon, or whatever

  5. just take a towel and clean it ,do not use metal sponge on surface becuase it will scrape off the non stick surface
