  1. The same exact way you clean a smaller tank.  You have to vacuum the gravel, do partial water changes, change out the filter media regularly, scrub the sides for algae, etc.

    It's the same, just takes a lot longer and involves more of the same kind of work it takes to properly maintain a smaller tank.

  2. Do you mean empty it completely for some reason or just do weekly maintenance?  If you need to empty it completely get a garden hose and use it to siphon the water out a window.

    For weekly maintenance you need to remove about 20 per cent of the total water either with a pail or using a gravel vacuum and replace it with dechlorinated water.

  3. I would use a water hose. (;

  4. Wow, I don;t know how you would have trouble with a ten gallon.  The bigger they are, it can actually get easier.  They don;t need to be changed near as often.  And check out this picture.  It's a 1000 gallon tank.  Kind of cool.

  5. REALLY THE BIGGER THE TANK THE EASYER IT IS TO KEEP CLEAN.GET A LOT OF BOTTOM CLEANING FISH,AND SIDE GLASS CLEANING FISH.

  6. Pretty much the same as you would with a smaller tank.
