How do you clean car rags with car wax on them?

Yes I have lots of old soft cotton rags but I cant seem ot get the old wax out of them. Is there a way to wash them or are they basically no good?

Open the trash can and throw them in. All clean!!!

boil them with water and dawn dish soap

Run them through the washer with standard detergent. Use the hot water setting. You may need to run them through twice. Be sure NOT to use fabric softener as this will make them streak when you use them again. After washing be sure to wipe down the inside of the washer, there may be a black ring in there from all the grease and cleaners that came out of the towels.

just use real hot soapy water and they will come clean,i re-use a lot of my older ones ,the more soap you add the cleaner they will come,good luck.
