  1. i have a long-handled vent brush that i use for this (purchased at Lowes Home Improvement).  Pull your dryer away from the wall, disconnect the exhaust hose and use the brush to get the lint buildup out.  then, just reconnect the hose and push the dryer back where it was.  easy

  2. You just stick your hand in there and pull the stuff out.

  3. a baby bottle brush, it gets into all the nooks and crannies.

  4. Use a Vacuum

  5. you can use a wire hanger that has been extended w/ a hook at the end

  6. If it's rigid, made of metal, you can use a tool that's something like a giant soft dust mop on a flexible handle. Home improvement stores sell them.

If it's flexible plastic, it's usually easier to unfasten whichever end is more accessible and clean it by hand, using your vacuum, a dust rag, whatever (depending on how full of lint it is), then re-securing it.
