How do you clean tennis shoes and flip flops?

Question

First my tennis shoes,

I have competition shoes for cheerleading and they are already dirty. They are white so does anyone know how to clean white shoes to make them look whiter? Can you put them in the washer?

And my flip flops,

Also white. How do you make them whiter? I have herd you can bleach them but i dont really know how. Thanks!

wash them or use mr clean magic erase

you CAN  bleach them you just mix bleach with a little water and let them soke for about 30, then you scrub with  an old tooth brush.

If you have regulation Cheer shoes, they can be put in the washer.

I asked my girlfriend and she said she cleans her sneakers with regular detergent in the washing machine or sometimes washes them by hand in the kitchen sink.  I never wash mine but hope that helps since she's my laundry advisor :)

Flip flops, just water and soap for anything but ones with leather foot pads. not sure what you can do with those.  I ruined a pair of nice Reefs that had leather in the foot-bed area with water :(
