Generally the outside of an oven door can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a dry dish towel. I clean the interior glass on mine with a sos or brillo pad if there is baked on stains. First clean it with warm soapy dish cloth, then gently rub with the sos pad.

If the oven is beyond a simple cleaning, I prefer Easy-off Fume Free. It can be used on a self-cleaning oven if you DO NOT USE THE SELF-CLEANING cycle. I've never found it to harm the glass either.  Always follow the directions on these types of cleaners. Happy cleaning!
