  1. Along with what you've been advised, try some vinegar in water and soak it to kill anything on the skin.

Why on earth do you HAVE to do this? Are you a child bride or something?

  2. Put in under the faucet and rinse well - use your hand to pull out any insides that may be left.

Be sure you find the bag containing the neck, heart, liver, and gizzards.

  3. Reach your hand inside (where the chicken's butt would have been, not through the neck), and pull out all of the innards.  Normally, these are in a bag, all together.

Rinse the inside of the chicken with cool water, using your hands to "scrub" out any parts that have been left behind.

    That's it.

  4. First make sure it's dead; then, just follow the instruction the other folks above have given  you. Are you sure you're really 15 and not a lot younger?

  5. just run cold water in it for a little bit ...rinse it thoroughly ...make sure you take out the bag of "guts" first !

  6. Just rinse it out with cold water.  You might find a paper bag with the giblets in it....remove those first....then rinse it with cold water.  If you have to bake it too, lightly salt the inside of the chicken.  I like to put some aluminum foil on the bottom of the pan before I bake it.  Makes for easy clean up.  I bake mine at 375 degrees for about 1-1/2 hours, and for the first hour its covered with foil.  The last half hour I uncover it and let the skin crisp up a bit.  Good luck...its pretty easy to do, so don't worry.
