How do you clean up a world that is already polluted?

Where do we began' to clean up pollution, our world is already polluted ?, it's not like we have a big airconditioner filter how do you clean oil out of water and expect the water not to be polluted? How can we stop pollution? people don't care about this world people throw garbage in the water, and rivers.

the ideea would be to start living in harmony with nature so that me would harm it as little as possible..and if we don't care for other people we should think about our children..and i believe that Earth is just like a living creature..it heals by itself  it just needs time..and just a little care...

I think that at this point pollution, any clean up would be pointless.   As fast as the clean up would be progressing society would be re-polluting the new clensed area.   You are correct in that pollution needs to be address.   To many people have been romanced by the theory that carbon dioxide is the primary reason for climate change, and the increase in global temperature.   As it turns out water vapour is the most significant green house gas.   The water vapour acts much like a mirror to reflect solar radiation back to earth.    Volanoes produces vastly more quantities of CO2 than do humans.   Likewise so to cows, bacteria, ect.  

So you are correct in that to improve the state of the environment we must address the pollution.   The key will be to first stop needless pollution.    We don't need to increase taxes simply redirect those tax dollars into clean burning fuels that reduce toxic and poisonous products.   Enforce community recycling, and compost  programs to eliminate the depletion of natural resources.   Regulate possibly ban genetically modified organism (GMO) to prevent genetic drift, and harmful side effects.   The list is very long.   While these programs are being enforced the enironment will slowly tend to its own wounds, very much like like a cut on your hand.   Then we can begin to look at collectively and efficiently mending pollution.
