How do you clear the history from ....??

the search area from the start button at the bottom right of the computer??? I want to check if my cousin was looking at something he wasn't suppose to and so I clicked search "s*x" and once I'm done if I type anything else with an "S" the word s*x shows up in the drop box (like trying to assist in the search). I want it all cleared, how do I do that? I don't want anyone seeing what I was searching.

  1. On your laptop or computer on Internet Explorer Right screen where it says Tools click --> then it should be the first thing on there it says Delete Browsing History click --> you can delete all, passwords (Saved) internet files, cookies, form data, and really any thing you want to.  


  2. Okay...go to the top left of your computer screen.

    you should see buttons that say ( File,  Edit,  View,  Favorites,  Tools )

    Go to Tools.

    Click on the option of Internet Options.

    Something will pop up.

    It is the second paragraph.

    The image is a clock with an arrow going around it.

    Click the option of "Delete".

    Something will pop up again.

    Click the one that says "Delete History".

    And then it will say " Are you sure you want to delete your visited websites.

    Hit Yes.

    And there you go.

  3. just highlight the word by putting your mouse over ti and press either delete or backspace try both incase

  4. Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete (under browsing history) -> Delete All, just to be on the safe side.

    That's for Internet Explorer

    For Firefox, go to Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Check all the boxes (to be on the safe side) and then click 'clear private data now'

  5. at the top right-ish corner of your computer there should be a button under numerous bars (depending on your computer type/browser) and it says "Tools" with a blue/grey gear icon, you click that and select 'internet options from the list (usually at the bototm of the list) and then you select 'Clear History' and options come up (what parts of your history you want to delete eg: cookies, passwords, sites visited etc. It's best to select 'delete all'

    that's life when everything goes all wrong.

  6. at the top right of the screen is a tap that says tools, click that and then go to delete browsing history.
