  1. Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files > Delete Cookies > Clear History...and then exit out of all web pages. Do a disk clean up afterward and then you can open up a new Internet window and check for the history :)

I use it at work so they cant see where I have been :)

  2. That's a good question, I don't know!

  3. O.K. it all starts at the Top of the page....go to your MENU bar (if you don't have a Menu bar....Place your mouse at the top of the page and right-click...enable your menu bar)...Go To TOOLS,,,,drop down to delete  browsing history...Delete All.....Yes delete ALL,....then refresh your browser( go to your home page) All your history should be cleared...From ALL your search boxes. It also deletes you cookies....which should be done AT LEAST once a week. Hope this helps    P.S ther are several ways to get to your DELETE BROWSER HISTORY!

  4. Select "Tools" from the menu bar at the top. Then select Internet Options. Then go to the "Content" tab. In the auto complete section, click "Clear Forms."

    That should do it.

  5. Use Mozilla Firefox, and your problem will be solved automatically...

  6. On the topmost portion of your screen, you need to click on TOOLS then look for INTERNET OPTIONS and click on it. Choose the GENERAL box and click on CLEAR HISTORY and as a result all of your visited sites will be deleted.

  7. IE6: Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete > Clear Forms. This will clear out ALL your autocompleted forms, such as search windows, form fill-ins, etc. You can also reset your Auto-Complete options here. Other browsers have something similar, you just need to find it!

Or, to delete just a single (or a few) searches, just have them highlighted in the drop-down list and hit DELETE -- they will vanish! If you hold down the key, the whole drop-down list of searches will delete.

If you are using the Yahoo! Toolbar, I believe there is a drop-down box at the end of the search window that has the option to CLEAR SEARCHES on it.

BTW, clearing your history, as some people may suggest to do, only clears out the PAGE locations that you have recently visited, NOT the searches!!

  8. Go to Tools, Internet Options, and clear your history, passwords, etc.

  9. -Tools

    -Internet Options

    -Clear history

To be sure it all is deleted you can Delete the cookies as well in that same box
