How do you clone pokemon?

Go to the battle frontier and go into the battle tower. Go up to the PC in the corner. Place the pokemon you want to clone in an empty box. Exit the PC and save your game. Once it saves go back into the PC and retrive your pokemon. Ok now here is the tricky part. Go straight down and over to the lady that does the link multi battles she is the one closest to the pc on the end. Ok enter the battle lv 50 or open it doesnt matter. Select your three pokemon. when she says before you enter a battle room your progress will be saved is that ok? Press yes!

WARNING!!!!!! DO THIS PART CORRECTLY OR YOUR GAME WILL MESS UP!

After you select yes the game will freeze for like 3 seconds! dont worry it will unfreeze. Just dont cut your game off or let the battery die while it does this or your game is screwed. Ok when it unfreezes it will say again would you like to save the game. Do not press yes or no instead reset your game. When you start it back up you will be back in front of the PC and the pokemon you cloned will be both on your team and in the empty box in your PC.

Try giving pokemon items because when you clone them with an item the item is cloned as well. Works great with master balls and rare candies.

You can clone 5 pokemon at a time. But dont try it until you get cloning 1 pokemon down pat!

The 3rd answer is mostly correct, but I can tell you better. Okay. Lets say you want to clone your Swampert (you can do this with any pokemon, though).  Go to battle frontier. Then go to the battle tower in battle frontier. On the right is a PC. Deposit the Swampert. Then exit the PC screen and save. Next withdraw your Swampert from the PC.

Walk over to the first lady behind the counter. When she asks you, select "challenge". Then select 2 pokemon from your party. When she says your progress will need to be saved, go until it says "Progress is saving. Don't turn off the power.". When it says that, turn off your game. When you turn it back on, you will be standing in front of the lady. You will have a Swampert in your party and a Swampert in your PC. They will be identical.
