  1. Just visualize that everybody in the audience is completely naked. The only downside to this advice is that you might laugh and miss your lines, but it will relax you.

  2. 1)  know your material/script inside and out;

         a. Score your script.

         b. Rehearse your heart out.

         c. Make your choices and stick with them.

    2)  Be proficient at a good relaxation technique. And make us of it on stage.

    3)  Then, in the words of the immortal Ivana Chubuck "Let go!"

  3. Try a practice run in front of your pets.

  4. You must remember that one-third are not listening, one-third do not want to be there at that moment and the rest listen while day dreaming. that will help, really.

  5. Remember that no matter how bad you might s***w up... it will be forgoten in 5 min's.

People have a VERY high "Shiny Factor" and we tend to jump from one shiny thing to the next like a racoon.

You could flash them your b*****s and they would forget about it after the next presenter screws something up...

Most of the audiance isn't really paying attention...

As Chelsey Latley recomends, periodically insert the term "Suck it" into your speach really quick...

"So gentalmen, the 4th quarter returns are *SUCKIT* above the projected expectations." and see if anyone notices...

I have no stage fright becaus I have no shame and can't be embarassed... I find it fun and HIGHELY personally entertaining to make an @ss out of myself in public...

It is more of a hobby then anything else! LOL!

Good luck... It is hard fear to get over but you can do it if you just remember that people have VERY short attention spans!

  6. What I do is use my fear/nervousness as a sort of energy booster. When you are nervous you feel as if your whole body is alittle cold and tingling. Right? So I imagine that the tingling increases throughout my whole body and becomes an electrifying feeling that gives me confidence, as it increases. Try doing this for a few minutes before you warm-up for your performance.

What you have to remember is that everyone gets scared before a performance. Even big time singers get nervous before they go on stage. So you are not the only one.

Don't forget to breathe deeply. Sometimes people don't realize how necessary breathing is to relax.

Stage fright is caused because people put limits on themselves because of their doubts or past experiences. If something has happened to you because of a traumatic experience, well you won't move on if you keep dwelling on the past.  You have to realize that you are a different person than before and you have gained some wisdom from that experience whether you realize it or not.

If it's your doubts causing your fear then you need to set your mind on success. The mind is powerful, we just need to set it in the right direction. It is normal to have doubts but don't dwell on your doubts because they will drag you down. Besides you never know how something will turn out unless you try.

    Hopefully this has helped you.
