How do you combine/over lap two seperate clips?

Question

As in, say I wanted the left side of one clip combined with the right side of another to look like they're together. is there a way to do this on windows movie maker? if not, how can you do this?

try super imposing the two video files. Make partial transparency. Alternatively use some other software like Adobe Premier's latest editions..
