  1. hi,

i usually follow this sample when i lay down music in cubase... (have a listen Moby's stuff)

Intro :  gets  the audience's attention

Verse     :   Tell your story/explain the situation (f.e. 8 measures)

Verse 2   :   Tell them a bit more

Chorus 1  :   Make your statement clearly(the theme "word" is placed here)

Bridge    :   Distract / leave your main story (a different key or solo guitar...)

Chorus 2  :   Get back on your statement (rub it in real good!)

       Outro     :   Fade

    see

    Bad moon Rising (creedence clearwater)

I see the bad moon arising.

I see trouble on the way.

    I see earthquakes and lightnin.

    I see bad times today.

    Chorus:

    Dont go around tonight,

Well, its bound to take your life,

Theres a bad moon on the rise.

    I hear hurricanes ablowing.

I know the end is coming soon.

    I fear rivers over flowing.

I hear the voice of rage and ruin.

    Chorus

    All right!

Hope you got your things together.

Hope you are quite prepared to die.

Looks like were in for nasty weather.

One eye is taken for an eye.

    Chorus

    Chorus

  2. First, think of a story, or theme.  Then write down all the words you can think of that make up that story.  Then write a poem using the words. Then, Write your song!
