How do you comfirm my email address on youtube?

Whenever i type in my email address it says please check your username and when i type in my username and password it just goes back to the page where it shows where you can type in your account. Please help. Thanks! I WILL AWARD 10 POINTS TO BEST ANSWER

sometimes the confirmation glitches up and fails to work,because its a new account the best thing to do is just delete the account and make a new one.

all though it means you have to fill everything out again it will mean your confirmation will work on a new account.

if you stay on the account where you cannot confirm your email you will be very limited for features.
