How do you commune with Nature?

Do you have a favorite activity when you get away from the city life and head out to a serene undisturbed place to commune with Nature?

i enjoy long walks in a serene environment. i like to hear birds sing. i like to watch them fly in the sky. i`m really fascinated with nature.

when i lived in a city, i had a motorbike and there were big hills just 20 miles out of town. we would ride up onto the moor, and have lunch and a pint outside one of the highest pubs in england.

Pollution is not creation of nature.It is man made nature is totaly clean pure.What do you mean by commune with Nature.

In the midst of nature, if I am alone, I keep eyes and ears open and enjoy myself. If possible, I would like to meditate.

Yes i do that, city live is not very nice but the country side is the real place where you can commune with nature

Permaculture is an interactive philosophy with Nature.

Finding energy flows utilizing and elaborating upon them

Copying the way nature works and applying these principles to man made organic set ups

Such as Permaculture gardens,aqua culture,agro forestal  situations ,,animal husbandry  and horticulture.

When working on these concepts one of the greatest teachers is Nature itself and through the process of observation

One could say we communicate with nature or rather Nature communicates with us ,to lead us to the principles of ,mulching,composting ,diverse and guild planting ,Organic pest control ,poli-cultures ,water harvesting and so on

Bring astrology into it (read Rudolph Steiner) and the stars will tell us when to plant as well.

By the end of the day when one relaxes in one of these gardens full of the sounds of birds ,chicks ,potbelly pigs etc

Getting sozzled on strong  home made passion fruit wine

and we let out a satisfied sigh after a hard days work

we communicate back.

And we dont really have to commune if we got one foot inside all the time .

My office is inside a garden that was made as a copy of nature ,and we got plenty of birds ,squirrels ,iguanas and the odd serpent.

Just kidding, but normally I find a nice tree and sit under it for a while, listening to the animals.

i just lay down under the huge green tree of my lawn...

facing the blue sky

feeling the cool breeze

listening the birds song

watching the butterflies playing over the lily

itz all silent but yet i can listen to nature..

it had brought smile on my face

its lovely

&

i stay with it pondering all from heaven to earth,

thats the way i am linked with nature

thats the time when iam happiest...
