The news is quite disturbing since their are massive killings. There were tall skyscrapers and buildings collapsing on teachers and students and people in school or outside during the afternoon. Was it caused by global warming?

  1. Dude, like there is no comparison there! That's like comparing apples to cats! They are completely unrelated, unless you are suggesting GOD killed these Chinese for political machinations.

One is a natural catastrophe that the Chinese were aware could happen, they live on the edge of the Ring of Fire and for generations scientist have been warning that when the Carpathian fault line shifts it will be devastating. Many Chinese buildings are built with different ways to absorb and withstand earthquakes, but they just keep loading more weight on top of unstable earth. Now I am not saying they were asking for it any more than Californians are asking for fires, mudslides, earthquakes, etc but they live in complete awareness that these things WILL happen.

The 911 attack was man-made, not natural.

You should be more aware of the situations involved before you ask questions like this. This is a very touchy subject. Half the people in America were connected to people who died in that cowardly act. The other half was shaken to our core that such a tragedy could happen in the land of the free and the home of the brave. All of us wept. The whole country stood still. There were no planes in the air for days and it only served to deepen the pall that hung over us all. We rallied for justice and we are still waiting for it. Most countries despise us for the war in Iraq and most of us don't agree with it either. The perpetrators of this heinous crime still have not been brought to trial, and Americans are losing their homes, cars, and our assets are dwindling while the gas prices continued to spiral in an ever increasing spike worsening the financial situation of many people. Some of us have to decide between good food or just enough to eat just to get back and forth to work.

We have someone out there to hold accountable for this. I don't know who, and they are not admitting themselves to us, but we have a coal of anger that will not be extinguished until they are found, tried, and justice is finally served.

The Chinese do not have this same kernel of hate poisoning their recovery. Once they have mourned, and rebuilt, they can find closure.

We are stuck with mourning, building a controversial memorial, and hate and fear.

The Chinese were not murdered - so don't call them killings, they are deaths or casualties, or fatalities but not killings. The Americans in the planes and in the buildings were killed, murdered, butchered, for something they had nothing to do with.

I mourn for their losses, and pray for a rapid recovery. They are resourceful and intelligent and I hope they discover new ways to prevent such a magnitude of loss in the future.

And yes it was probably global warming as the oceans heat up the Ring of Fire becomes more active and the Caspian Range is a hot spot of activity.

  2. Really it is sad part that people of Chaina facing a natural disaster which was beyond their control and belief,God will help them and all world community are with them.Whereas 9/11 disaster was man made and was a ego problem of terrorists who want to dominate the world by their act of threat

    However both are not desirable.

  3. I dont compare Sept 11th to the China Earthquake at all

    SEpt 11th was terrorist related

    people were murdered on PURPOSE

The  Earthquake was not terrorists related

The Earthquake  was caused by a plate shifting ,

not global warming but I bet Al Gore will claim it to be so

  4. You can't compare apples to oranges.  One was a natural disaster and the other was caused by man.  It is sad, the death and injury in China and it seems like the international community is about as good as FEMA in providing aid.

  5. the Chinese government is trying it's best to control the food prize even before the earthquake, so i don't think they will let the food prize go up now.

  6. HUH?

  7. The former was a man made disaster and the latter a natural disaster.
