How do you condense the image size of a PDF file to fit an 8 x 11 page?

Open it in photoshop if you have it and resize it

For Viewing or for printing?

For Viewing: just use the "zoom" option and change the percentage.  It will make the text smaller but it will fit an 8 x 11 page.

For Printing:  Click on File Print and choose the option to "Fit to printable area".

When you click print in Acrobat click on the properties button. Go to the Paper Tab. The document size should show the page size the document was created at.

Put a check in the "Print on" checkbox and change the paper size below it.

Then check the Fit to print size checkbox. You should be all set.

Click OK to accept and close the Properties window, then press OK on the print window and it should print the full page to the paper you wanted it on.

This is based on Windows XP, it should be almost identical in Vista.
