How do you conduct a case sensitive search on a search engine. Searching for “FaMe” and not "Fame"?

Searching for "FaMe" in quotations doesn't take into consideration the case-sensitive nature of the search, anyone know how to ensure that the engine searches specifically for "FaMe" and not "fame"?

  1. Well, what is "FaMe"? A band, a screen name?

    Just type in

    "FaMe AND band"

    or

    "FaMe AND Detroit"

    or

"FaMe AND ____" (other keyword that will cut out non-related stuff)

  2. on Yahoo there should be an option at or near the top right-hand side of the screen that says advanced search.. in that menu there should be an option to "search exact phrase"

    I hope that helps.

  3. If that does not work, try this article on "Case Sensitive Searches" which has a chart at the bottom of sites that do or don't use it. Hotbot seems to be one it mentions as doing it.
