How do you conduct an online charity auction?

We want to list items that are available at a charity event that is raising money for a sick child. What's the best way to get this information out there?

However, make sure that you have a way of tracking everything since you will need to be able to get a tax deductibe letter to the person who donated.  And remember that they only get a deduction for the amount paid OVER the value of the item.
