  1. Here are all of your specs. Your unit is not a TV but a multi media display.

You need a tuner or connect using the appropriate cables from your cable box to the inputs for the display.

In theory this should work, but may still require a tuner.

Check Newegg or similar retailers for a tuner.

  2. check to see if your TV has something called a cableCard Slot. Most cable operators seem to be dropping support for this, but it can't hurt to check with them if you have the slot.

Next, what kind of service do you have. Cable, you get a box from the company, tell them you have a hi def flat panel. The box will have the component outputs and HDMI outs.

With the sat dish, again, the box will have the outputs to connect to your TV. Your cable box, cableCard or Dish box is the tuner.

On the super cheap, if you can find an old VCR, that can be your tuner. It's ghetto, but it will do in a pinch.

Oh yeah, if you are getting your signal over the air (antenna) buy a digital tuner, the one's that are popping up at walmart. That can be your tuner as well.
