I'm connecting a silicon rigid tube to a PVC tee. It fits but it's slightly lose. What is the best thing to secure this connection? The fluid going through it is deionized water.

  1. Depending on the size of tube - you could go with a bushing with a female thread and thread in a 1/2" Pex x Male Adapter and use a hose clamp

  2. find a nipple to fit the hole in the pvc and accommodate the silicon tube

  3. they make a special glue for pvc...this should secure it, if it's the right size to start with  (if all else fails, wrap it in duct tape)

  4. Either bring a small section of PVC from out the part of the tee (using purple primer & glue) then connect the PVC pipe to the rigid silicon with a PVC compression coupling or insert the the tube into the tee and use alot of glue
