How do you connect an hdmi cable from computer to tv?

it wont give me the multiple display option like there is not second monitor but everything is hooked up together properly......help

I'm guessing you are using a laptop..In any event You need to shut down the pc, make sure both are connected. Make sure the TV/Video is set to the HDMI input. Do this from a button on the remote or through the menu, also using the remote.

Turn on the laptop or PC. After you log on, right click on the desktop and select properties. From there click settings. You should see 2 "LCD" screens, one is ghosted or grey'd out. Left click and sort of drag it a bit then let go. a pop up should ask if you want to activate the screen, select yes, then ok. Then adjust the resolution.
